Happy Sunday

Our room 3 dogs wanted to wish everyone a happy Sunday.

Garbo's smile says it all - she is having a great time with her friends here.

Mason is smiling and sitting at attention... he knows it is dinnertime!

Riley, too, is happily awaiting her meal.

Savannah's soulful eyes are precious!

Stella is a shy, though gorgeous, model.

Enjoy the remainder of your weekend, everyone :)

We're Expanding!

We are proud to announce that D is for Doggy is expanding!

Our new location at 552 Sixth Avenue (between 15th and 16th street) will open this month -- check our Facebook page and Twitter account for updates about our official opening day!

We will continue to offer the same high standard of care and personal attention we're known for -- now at two locations in the area. Stay tuned for details on the grand opening and other fun events.

We attribute our success to our incredible D is for Doggy clients (that's you!) and look forward to seeing you soon. As a thank you, we're offering a Bring-a-Friend promo now through November 30: Bring a friend who's new to D is for Doggy and you'll both get 10% off a package at either location.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Sincerely,
D is for Doggy

We have some goofy cuties in our small dog room:

Dulce and Vita staring at a treat with rapt attention!

Zeppelin has a silly lounging stance, don't you think?

We also have some pups who want nothing more than to pose for headshots:

Rico is all smiles in front of the camera!

Rosie takes the serious, thoughtful approach.

Winston likes to get up close and personal in his portraits.

Lastly, we have doggies who just want to cuddle:

Maggie and Shamu are BFFs and often seen snuggling with each other.

More Celebrity Look-Alikes!

As a continuation of our post here, we have even more celebrity look-alike dogs:

Franklin and George Washington

Harry and Dwight Schrute

Milly and Merida

Rocky and Rocky Balboa

Do you think your pooch resembles a celeb? E-mail us and let us know; we might feature them in our next look-alike blog post!

The Daily Beast: Piney

Check out this article in The Daily Beast, featuring our very own Piney! We are so proud to know him and his extremely dedicated parents. The lengths they go to to provide for their canine best friend serve as an inspiration to us all.

New Employee

Please join me in welcoming our new team member, Bunny! Below are photos from her first day as a D4D employee.

She was a bit timid at first, but eager to please. She learned the dogs' names quite quickly!

Not long into her first shift, she became comfortable in the room.

She also proved to be an efficient and diligent cleaner - a quality we look for in all of our employees.

We think Bunny will work out quite well :) Don't you?

Are you sure that's comfy?

Some of our daycare doggies like to sleep or relax in really odd positions.

They don't look too comfortable but they all seem happy nonetheless lol!
