Spring Day

It was a lovely spring Saturday yesterday, and we took advantage of it! The dogs had an abundance of backyard time and enjoyed basking in the sun while enjoying the cool breeze.

Easter

We hope everyone is having an excellent holiday weekend! The pups got into the spirit and requested that I decorate their photos with bunny ears... I happily indulged them :)

Spring Forward

Though today's "spring forward" caused us to lose an hour of sleep, the pups are just as energetic and playful as ever! I think they are looking forward to longer days and warmer weather... and who can blame them?!

Yuki was looking at another pup - ready to join in on the fun :)

Luna was gazing at her puppy pals while soaking in some sun.

Bogart and Fredinand were investigating the backyard.

Lola's turned out feet add to her already endearing appearance!

Bentley could barely sit still for this photo; he was vibrating with excitement!

Room 3 Cuties

We hope everyone is enjoying the remainder of their weekend! All of the D is for Doggies are having a great time. Below are a few cuties from room 3:

Ferdinand's soulful gaze and slight smile make him absolutely irresistible!

Mookie always sits still for photos like a seasoned model.

Maggie was standing guard over the water bowl.

Safi was eyeing me as if to say, "You ARE going to rub my belly after you take that photo... Right...?"

Nemo

Well, since our last entry about the "sprinkling of snow," storm Nemo laid down quite the blanket of white! Below are some shots of our doggies frolicking in the backyard.
Elke paused her playtime to pose.
Foca looks so serious as he contemplates which snow pile to jump into next!
His sister, Enza, on the other hand, is all gleeful smiles.
Rufus observed the others and took in the scenery.
Caesar was ready to go back inside to the warmth and comfort of the rooms... So we obliged :)

Sprinkling of Snow

It wasn't quite a winter wonderland, but we did have a sprinkling of snow last night. The pups are making the most of it and enjoying frolicking in the little bit of snow left on the ground!

Dogs in Song

Our dogs are often our muses. Enjoy these photos and song lyrics about man's best friend.

"I want a dog
To walk in the park
When it gets dark, my dog will bark
At any passers-by
Oh, (oh oh) you can get lonely
I want a dog." ~ Pet Shop Boys

"I'm gonna buy me a dog [A dog, a dog! Why?]
'Cause I need a friend now. [Say, you need all the friends you can get]
I'm gonna buy me a dog." ~ The Monkees

"I love my dog as much as I love you
But you may fade, my dog will always come through." ~ Cat Stevens

"My old Blue he was a good old hound
You'd hear him hollering miles around
When I get to Heaven first thing I'll do
I'll grab my horn and call for Blue." ~ The Byrds

“How much is that doggie in the window?

The one with the waggly tail

How much is that doggie in the window?

I do hope that doggie is for sale.” ~ Patti Page

"It's true dogs are the best people
There's a church, there's a steeple
Dogs are the best people." ~ The Fauves

Rain Rain...

It may be raining outside, but the dogs are enjoying lounging in the comfort of our rooms.

"Rain rain..."

"...Go away..."

"...Come again..."

"...Another..."

"...Day!"
